How long have you been playing Pokémon/Pixelmon?: Regular pokemon, since 2009. Pixelmon for about 6 years. Comp for about 6 years as well on and off
Do you play Pokémon/Pixelmon competitively?: Yes
How long can you play per day or week?: Pretty easily 8 hours, but probably more. I don't really have anything else going on.
Why should we pick you?: I made the damp swampert play, and also have food's endorsement. (she told me to apply) More seriously, I feel like I have a good grasp on battling and a lot of experience in it. I can gracefully take an L when it happens and give congratulations to winning players, but also give them tips if they want them when they lose.

Just a few pointers and questions myself and the rest of the gym team have come up with for your Yama Gym Application team. None of these are mandatory to implement, just our suggestions:

You might want to consider changing changing Volcanion's item to Heavy-Duty boots and using a different move instead of Sludge Wave such as Sludge Bomb, Hidden Power Grass or Toxic. We think you should also consider changing one of your other pokemon to Chlorophyll Venusaur to make more use of your Mega Charizard Y's Drought while also having a pokemon with a strong Speed stat (in Sun) and retaining other useful tools on your team like Defog.

Why are you using Specs Volcanion over an item that provides more utility such as the aforementioned Heavy-Duty Boots or Leftovers? Why is your Defogger of Choice Serperior?

Im more than happy to make changes to the team, i know y'all are better at team building than i am. i chose to use specs over boots or lefties because i forgot about boots and specs seemed fine because id never built a volc before and looked on smogon for sets, which was one of the ones listed. defogger of choice was serp because i felt like the rest of my team besides maybe heatran were very offensively oriented, and i knew i needed some sort of hazard removal and utility mon. usually i prefer sludge bomb over sludge wave because of the poison chances for only 5 base power less, but just went with the smogon set in this case. i know i could run kart with synthesis and defog, but i felt like kart without the extra coverage might hurt me. could replace kart with venu, or i could replace like serp with venu. hard choice honestly.

i know this is unorganized, but i have faith in foods ability to read my jumbled garbage

Made the changes to the team. Put hdb on volc and replaced sludge wave with sludge bomb since its personal preference, and then replaced kart with sun sweeper venu. speed is similar, neither outspeed mega pert in rain.
